Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of buildings managed by Brian Steinwurtzel reveal a mixed management experience. Tenants appreciate the well-maintained amenities and responsive front desk staff, highlighting the cleanliness and comfort of living spaces. However, many express frustration with management's lack of responsiveness and difficulty resolving maintenance issues. The atmosphere is often disrupted by neighbors’ behavior, contributing to noise and odors in common areas. While some residents enjoy the amenities, others feel the building lacks proper oversight, particularly regarding tenant interactions. Overall, potential renters should expect a well-equipped facility but may need to address issues with management responsiveness.

Soma needs standards

Pros

The amenities and front desk staff are awesome!

Cons

It always smells like trash in the lobby , at least most days … it seems like they are always taking out the trash We signed with them telling us the pool is included it’s not included it’s an additional 2K! 25% of the building is reserved for the housing lottery residents and they unfortunately attract a very terrible experience to all residents. It constantly smells like weed, people drunk / passed out the hallways … abusing amenity spaces and so on. It’s a real shame

Advice to the owners

Treat the tenants that actually pay full price to live here better.

Pros

Beautiful amenity spaces. Have had good experiences with the resident manager and follow through with the maintenance team with apartment fixes. The front desk is so friendly and great!

Cons

Wish there were more activities offered in the spaces.
