do not live here...

Pros

- The area is nice - Walk to Train Station isn't bad, M15 is also literally a block away - Apartment itself was pretty big for the price we were paying

Cons

- Took months to get our deposit back. Took a month after moving out to respond regarding the deposit and attempted to take fees without sending an invoice (and outside the two-week window) which is not legal. After 14 days upon moving out, the landlord is required by law to forfeit any deductions and must return the full amount to the tenant. I explained this to them multiple times and had to contact the Attorney General because they would not comply. Would not recommend off of that alone. Package Theft. Literally can no longer order anything online and there are no cameras in the building at all so they won't do anything about it - Pests are a huge issue...after our first year here, we are always dealing with something and are very clean people (my roommate and I) - Management is very hit or miss. They will be eager to fix problems that are not necessary but when something is important, they will take their sweet time.

Advice to the owners

Please listen to your tenants and understand the needs of the building as well as the law.

Pay for what you get

Pros

Decently sized bedrooms Recently renovated kitchen Can’t hear neighbors much

Cons

Mouse was seen in the kitchen once as well as a cockroach in the bedroom. Management helped fast though. Apartment gets VERY cold in the winter, electric bill will go through the roof just trying to barely stay warm Plumbing issues seemed to keep coming up every few months. Very loud if windows face first ave.

Advice to the owners

Listen to your tenants and do some maintenance on the building. It is worth it to invest in the property so you don’t have to deal with annoyed tenants
