It gets better every year
Pros
I’ve lived here for 8 years and each year the landlord gets more responsive. She’s changed property management companies a number of times and while none are great, the current one (Grant management) is very responsive. Everything is in working order, they send an exterminator when needed (in addition to monthly sprays). Water pressure is great. Garbage never gets out of control. Super is a really nice and helpful guy.
Cons
There’s more issues with the boiler than there should be. While they send people out to fix it ASAP, they clearly need a new one. I’ve heard it’s hard to get your security deposit back from neighbors who moved out. You have to document EVERYTHING. They’re stingy AF on the heat, and while the windows are no longer drafty as hell, they’re big so they trap the cold a lot.
Advice to the owners
Get a new boiler!!
