Looks can be deceiving
Former Tenant
Pros:
Pet friendly, large apartments with great views, quick action from maintenance staff
Cons:
Poor management (Feil), many broken appliances/apartment issues upon moving in, lost packages, broad mix of tenants, split between the very old rent stabilized and the much younger families
Advice to owner:
Respond to your tenants who flag problems

Big building, efficient and responsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lobby area was always clean. Staff is helpful. Big storage area for packages.
Cons:
The tenant of the apartment I was subleasing from was taking advantage of people and keeping their security deposits. But this isn’t a reflection on the building itself.

Just not with it
Former Tenant
Pros:
It looks good in photos on the internet, it’s down hill from there
Cons:
This building is putting lipstick on a pig. The plumbing, walls, the very infrastructure of the building is trash. After every move out, they re-finish the apartments, but the third time your experience waste water dripping down your walls, from the apartment above’s toilet , you stop caring about the subway tile backsplash in the kitchen.
Advice to owner:
Umm rebuild the building ? Don’t have manic supers, that treat the staff like mafia soldiers . Doubtful anything will change
