Bay ridge area is nice but that is all.
Cons
Everything, from bedbugs in the walls, roaches, mice & flies from the unkept garbage. Oh if it’s hot in your apartment and you want to let in a breeze your whole house will be swarmed with flies immediately. Turn on the kitchen light & roaches scatter. The stairs are covered in dead roaches, cigarettes butts, dog feces & snack wrappers/empty beer cans. An honorable mention is the leak in your ceiling you’ll get that drops down broken plaster & black mold. Not only that but, there’s lead paint that is still there from 1998. My ceiling has been getting redone and plastered over for 27 years! Never once have they thought oh, hey maybe fixing the actual roof would help! Nope! So if you want a nice quiet neighborhood but over paying for an itchy bed, this is the place for you! No hot water, painted over light switches, upside down outlets, cracks in every crevice allowing pests to come in & a mold filled bathroom. Advice to the owners
Give up the property or lower the price of rent if you’re going to treat people this poorly. 1,900 is insane for a place that neglects its tenants & a place this worn down should just be bulldozed.
