Great spot if you're carless
Pros
Convenient area, garbage and recycling used to always be pristine and organized. Can't say for now or future. Trustworthy neighbors, boxes are seen on the 1st FL for days, no one touches it. Pest free! While I was living their only saw 1 baby roach and it was in the bathroom. Maintenance personnel really keep this building well maintained.
Cons
Can hear the apt above and apts surrounding very clearly, their conversations, door slams, & load music. The building is old and not updated with the best heating system... My room was always cold during winter and the smaller rooms like bathroom were toasty warm. Also I think mostly everyone on that street is working from home because the only time I see cars moving from their spot is on street cleaning days. Maybe you can negotiate with landlord to park in back of building as of now the back isn't being used for anything. I also found that the rent was too high for an outdated small apt .
Advice to the owners
May want to not disclose that you only want renters that make 100k salary as that is illegal.
