Pros:
The 303 East 33rd Apartments were my home for 2 years - it was a decent place to live, with your average amenities in a "luxury" apartment. The apartment units themselves are nice - washer/dryer in-unit, modern appliances, aesthetic living space (sleek kitchen, standing shower, mirror with backlight, hardwood floors). You'll have your other basics - gym, mailroom/package system, exterminator services. There is a doorman, which helps with safety, and also a key fob system after late hours. The rooftop is pretty! It's a great location - walking distance to Fairway, Trader Joes, AMC Kips Bay, 3rd ave bars, etc.
Cons:
This isn't really a "con", but it's a trek to the closest subway - a good 10 min walk to 28th/33rd street stations (but it's close to the 34th st. ferry!). We did have a few roach sightings, but it's NYC, so that's to expect. They offer exterminator services...just wish I didn't have to actually sign up for it! The washer/dryer in unit is a plus, but it's one of those energy efficient ones so they're small and the dryer takes forever.
