Cheaper prices. Despite all the cons, was able to make it nice enough to be comfortable.
Electricity old, lots of outages in apartment, lots of dangerous wiring- old building i guess. Water ran cold 40% of the time. Tons of roaches, centipedes, and mice in the walls. Neighbors extremely loud, both in the building and neighboring houses, loud drumming and music every weekend. High crime rate.
