Nice building, with some tough issues

Pros

Nice area, clean hallways, updated appliances, good size for NYC

Cons

Violent and abrasive neighbors that the building does not control, continuous issues with the laundry units, continuous issues with the water specifically hot water (water has been turned off many times over the years)

Advice to the owners

Be more responsive to tenants when charging such high rents

Nice, quiet location; unresponsive super

Pros

Loved the location and even the top floors aren’t that many steps compared to some other walkup buildings in Manhattan. Pretty quiet and respectful neighbors

Cons

Super is unresponsive unless you email/text/call many times. My unit needed multiple repairs and on average it would take 5-10 texts to get in touch. One time I hired someone from TaskRabbit to do minor repairs for me out of frustration. Unit was pretty outdated and priced exorbitantly for what you get, but again amazing and convenient location
