Amazing Building and Neighborhood
Pros
- Close to subway - about a 5 min walk from 30th Av N/W and Broadway N/W, 10-15 min walk from Steinway Street R - Neighborhood - the 31st Ave corridor alone has so many amazing bars and restaurants, and then you're a short walk from Broadway and 30th Avenue and a short subway ride from Ditmars, and then a short walk from Astoria Park, Socrates Sculpture Park - Management - lovely and responsive but also proactive, you never have to chase them to get things done, and they take care of their tenants, including longterm elderly tenants - Quiet - tenants are mostly young professionals or couples, so it's quiet, no parties
Cons
Traffic from 33rd Street can be loud, with honking horns at the intersection of 33rd and 31st, and cars like to speed from 31st Ave to 30th Ave in order to beat the light, but the insulation in the building is good so you don't really hear that with the windows closed
