Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenants renting from HARRY FANG report generally good responsiveness and maintenance, especially praising management's attentiveness and timely handling of requests. Buildings are often in convenient locations with spacious apartments, friendly neighbors, and well-managed pest control. Garbage collection and cleanliness receive mostly positive feedback, though occasional issues have been noted. Some renters mention older building infrastructure, heating inconsistencies, and noise from nearby areas as downsides. There are occasional criticisms of management being unresponsive or neglecting long-term repairs, with a few warnings about security and condition problems. Overall, expect a landlord who is proactive but with room for improvement in upkeep and communication.

Reviews

Former tenant·9 minutes ago

great neighborhood, decent building

Pros

Perfect location close to almost every subway lane and tons of buses and LIRR Pretty responsive super and landlord Never had issues with pests and garbage was generally cleared out of the garbage room every few days Other tenants were mostly friendly/helpful - lots of young people in their 20s but not a party environment Noise usually not an issue

Cons

Tenants on one floor smoke inside and had loud dog Sometimes stairwells were dirty Sometimes took prompting to get things fixed
