New building, Decent place to live

Pros

New appliances, clean, great location -lots of coffee shops and bars nearby

Cons

For some reason the building attracts a lot of college kids that like to throw parties, noise levels are consistently high and the walls are thin.

Ok building , slow maintenance, good location, unresponsive management

Pros

Elevator, Newish appliances, good location.

Cons

Management is slow to respond to maintenance requests. Then the super is slow to actually make the repairs. Noisy neighbors, and the building is not doing much about it. Some of the neighbors are so bad that they get raided by the IRS Criminal Investigation Division at 6 am.

Advice to the owners

Be more proactive in responding to maintenance requests and tenant concerns.
