Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for DOBRIVOYE FILIPOVICH's buildings reveals a common theme of poor management responsiveness despite generally clean buildings and good garbage management. While locations are often praised and neighbors are considered decent or friendly, renters experience delays in urgent repairs, lack of timely communication, and unfulfilled maintenance promises, especially concerning appliances and essential utilities like hot water and heating. Some units are rent stabilized, but amenities remain basic with no dishwasher or laundry. Noise can be an issue due to central locations. Overall, management is viewed as difficult to reach and slow to act, which detracts from the living experience despite otherwise favorable conditions.

Great location, bad management

Pros

Lived here for 3 years, the location is great and super central. We had a corner unit that got tons of sunlight.

Cons

Central location means it can get noisy from all the street traffic. Management was awful and really hard to get in touch with. When we had urgent requests, it was impossible to get a hold of anyone. We only had an email for them and would try random numbers we found online to try to get in touch with them. Our fridge broke several times and we would lose money on the groceries lost each time and would take forever for a tech to come fix it. It wasn’t until the 3rd time it broke that they finally agreed to replace it.

Decent Value for Williamsburg

Pros

Rent controlled; neighbors stay relatively out of your way; situated on a great block/stretch of Williamsburg

Cons

Lack of bang for buck (no laundry, dishwasher, etc.); poor management
