Mismanagement / Flooding

Pros

nice apartments in a great location. most if not all units are rent controlled since the building receives a 421a tax break. They will not disclose this when you move in though. Large windows and great soundproofing, we never hear our neighbors.

Cons

I’d avoid renting the bottom units as they flood during every big rain. Management also offered only $100 as a solution. We also had an active leak in the hallway for several weeks and they didn’t fix with any urgency. Have heard multiple management horror stories from other tenants.

Landlord is really the main con of this building.
