A nice quiet home
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love how family friendly this building is and that the units are larger than average. Super is very responsive & even helped install my AC
Cons:
They will jack up the rent as high as possible after 1 year so be ready for it. They don’t offer 2 year leases
Advice to owner:
Offer two year leases

Small Space but good storage
Former Tenant
Pros:
There is a solid amount of storage for an apartment of this size (ours was a 2 bedroom with no living room, just a kitchen set up) but there is a large closet in the main room and both rooms have a 2 door and 3 door closet respectively. I was able to fit a queen bed, dresser, and full desk in my room.
Very clean and updated, had laundry in unit and a dishwasher which was a huge plus.
No issues at all with our neighbors.
Neighborhood is safe and right downstairs is a trader joes.
All in all a really solid apartment, just a small space.
Cons:
Loud (next to freeway onramp - earplugs needed to sleep).
It's VERY hot, even in the winter.
No living room.
Advice to owner:
I think all in all this is a great, solid spot in NYC. Double paned windows would really increase the value of the property I think!

Nice area, apt is better than average. Unreasonable landlord.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Usually fairly clean and well maintained. Nice neighbors. Renovated apartments with higher quality materials than is usual in NYC (especially kitchen).
Cons:
No cooking gas, oven and stove, for 6 months. Refused compensation.
Rent increase during Covid in rent down market. Refusal to negotiate.
Extremely creaky floors need redoing.
Our buzzer never worked. We were told to give the door-code for deliveries or go downstairs to open the door.
Mice and cockroaches and basement / laundry area seems dirty.
Packages go missing frequently. No security cameras.
Bathrooms need fans (mold).
Advice to owner:
Fix floors and negotiate on rent if you enjoy not losing money and not having lots of vacancies. And clean up the basement. Install cameras downstairs. Fix the buzzer.
