Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews for buildings managed by Kevin Seaton reveal significant concerns with cleanliness and management responsiveness. Many residents cite filthy common areas and frequent pest issues, with garbage often overflowing and laundry facilities in disrepair. While some appreciate the spacious apartments and good neighborly environment, frustrations with the owner's lack of accountability and poor communication dominate the feedback. Several reviews point to amenities that are either neglected or misleadingly advertised, contributing to an overall dissatisfaction among renters. Potential tenants should be cautious, as positive aspects are overshadowed by numerous management-related grievances.

Could B e Great, Isn't.

Pros

Old school building, so large windows, really high ceilings and each apartment has a storage space. There is a backyard (kinda) and roof access (kinda). Laundry in the building. There is a 'security desk'. Apartments decent sized. Hardwood floors.

Cons

Very dirty. The laundry room is wet and dirty all the time. The hallways are rarely mopped and the stairwells almost never cleared. The building needs facade work, windows haven't been cleaned since I got here and has a serious pest issue. There are often dead roaches left to rot in the hallwas. The one con that isn't the buildings fault, is that it is next to a huge project complex, so the street is very loud.

Advice to the owners

If the building were in better shape, if the management cared at all about the state of the it, it could balance out the street.

Spacious and bright but dirty

Pros

Apartments are spacious for the price and location, with very large windows. Neighbors are respectful.

Cons

Common areas are so filthy! Food scraps and dead cockroaches lying around in hallways, elevators, and staircases for months! Also the laundry machines are often broken and it often gets too hot or too cold in winter

Advice to the owners

Stop adding ugly furniture to the lobby and instead clean the common areas better.
