Great Builiding, Well-Managed, Great Neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
This is a friendly building. The doorpeople, the porter staff, and the superintendent are all helpful and friendly. The neighbors are nice. The landlord is responsive.
Cons:
The only negative is that when the school next door lets out in the afternoon it can be a little noisy.
Advice to owner:
You're doing a great job.

Classic Prospect Heights Pre-war
Former Tenant
Pros:
Classic NY pre-war. Well managed, large 1 bedrooms. The doormen are wonderful and Jose the cleaner keeps the place spotless. We loved living here.
Cons:
Elevator can be annoying at times. The super is not at all organized, and can take very long to respond to tenant needs. Very frustrating for some tenants, we didn’t have too many issues.
Advice to owner:
Thanks, David. We enjoyed our two years at the Old Colony

Prospect Heights gem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Doorman building, friendly staff, laundry in building, parquet floors, great garden and trees, built-ins, cross-ventilation
Cons:
Rusty pipes (bring or install water filters)
Advice to owner:
Keep up the good work of maintaining and restoring this building! One suggestion: open up the back courtyard for residents who’d like a little outdoor space

Great location but some downside
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, size and tenants.
Cons:
Packages consistently stolen by either doorman or tenant but most likely the former. Super takes constant requests before fixing.
