Great apartment after property management change

Pros

-spacious -sunny -convenient location -affordable

Cons

The owner of the property illegally refused to let me sublet, and attempted to evict me. I had to reach out to a tenant lawyer and apply for ERAP. Property management changed somewhat randomly and the new manager was kind and helpful

Pest, Pipes, and Mold Issues

Pros

- the neighborhood - the natural lighting in apartment - the low rent

Cons

Moved due to ongoing pest issues that were not resolved by management efficiently as well as returning bathroom mold that again was not resolved my management properly. Poor handyman work as well as ventilation issues in the kitchen and bathroom were also major cons. Water leaks also occurred more regularly in our final months.

Advice to the owners

Renovate these apartments- between the pests and mold, this space felt hazardous to our health.
