Rats in the walls

Pros

Cute renovated apartments. The neighbors are nice.

Cons

Rats in the walls and cockroaches everywhere. Impossible to get someone to come and fix it. You will hear scratching and squeaking every night. There are also LOUD neighbors they do nothing about because the on sight super will be friends with them. Children screaming in the hallways and all through the night. The elevator breaks down all the time and it smells like pee. The local postal workers/UPS/FedEx refuse to come to the door to drop off packages and regularly leave them and they get stolen

Advice to the owners

Pest control. Respond to tenants.

Former tenant·Over 3 years ago

Not the fanciest but I had a nice time here!

Pros

-Nice location (close to grocery stores, subway, bars etc) -Fast internet -Water heats up quickly -Super is pretty responsive, fixed my heater during my first week -Laundry is operated by app, which is cool

Cons

-Building hallway/elevator/basement is a little dingy and smells like smoke (though apt interiors are nice) -Landlord typically needs some nudging before responding to emails -Long commute from downtown, BK, etc.
