Beware your security deposit
Pros
This building is extremely well located and newly renovated. The landlords own a storefront on the street level so if you're not getting a response you can always go down there and bug them. Elevators were nice to have also.
Cons
Really just the landlords. They were always nickel and diming everything. When the super would come to fix stuff he would do it in the cheapest way possible and we were usually better off fixing things ourselves. They would also often dismiss our complaints until a larger issue had developed. They also withheld over 50% of our security deposit for painting and covering up nail holes. Painting is legally required of landlords every three years (and we lived there for four), and our nail holes were no more than 'average wear and tear'. After a lot of arguing and threatening small claims court, we were able to get half of the withholding back. But if you move in here, beware of that when you're trying to get your security deposit back.
