Across from the park
Pros
Great view of the park across the street if you’re in a front unit. Responsive management when there are issues. Neighbors are respectful and kind.
Cons
Even though there is a roof, tenants aren’t allowed access. The laundry machines are sometimes out of commission. Occasionally packages get stolen, but not by people in the building. It is a little loud, especially in the summer time, because people have communities gatherings in the park. Occasional roach, but that’s NY baby!
Low Comfort Budget Option
Pros
- Cheap - Well connected to transit at 125 st. But stations are particularly filthy.
Cons
- Old, poorly maintained building with poor ventilation - Difficult to get response for fixes but happened sooner or later - Limited sunlight in most rooms - Surrounding neighborhood is loud and full of trash
