Pros
- Cheap - Well connected to transit at 125 st. But stations are particularly filthy.
Cons
- Old, poorly maintained building with poor ventilation - Difficult to get response for fixes but happened sooner or later - Limited sunlight in most rooms - Surrounding neighborhood is loud and full of trash
Great home, horrible trash and laundry situations
Pros
Lovely neighbors, so quiet in the building, it’s a great apartment if the rent is worth it for you. Obviously an insane location; the park is the greatest amenity, and all of the retail on Columbus is like Rodeo drive.
Cons
They really need to figure out the trash situation because guests get VERY grossed out lol. Rats in the trash no matter the season. Annoying jobless men gathered in large groups on the street who will catcall you literally every time you pass by. And having no laundry SUCKS bc the closest laundromat is a few blocks out. Sure, wash & fold is close, but it’s pretty expensive.
Advice to the owners
Literally figure out the trash and find a washer/dryer hookup for every unit.
