it was good for the price

Pros

each unit has the entire floor, separate kitchen, very high ceilings, the living room closet was massive and the walls are super thick so you can barely hear any noise from another room. Fireplaces were decorative and pretty, our unit had built in shelving also that was really pretty.

Cons

mice were always around and the exterminators weren't very effective. only saw two cockroaches in the 3 years we lived there though. the heat doesn't work well in the building, all heat rises to the top floor so they're boiling while everyone else is freezing. building always looked like it was caving in on itself- floors are concerningly uneven. The staircase in the hallway is also dangerous and a hazard. The apartment buzzer didn't always work, sometimes it would get stuck ringing your apartment and the sound of the buzzer is awful.

Advice to the owners

only thing that can really be fixed quickly would be the buzzer. I'd recommend upgrading the system for a virtual doorman, especially for the prices you're now asking for.
