Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for buildings managed by Bill Lika highlights significant management shortcomings. Renters frequently report poor cleanliness, inadequate garbage management, and unresolved pest issues. There are serious safety and maintenance concerns, including faulty or missing safety equipment and flooding problems. Owner responsiveness is consistently described as slow or absent, and many tenants express dissatisfaction with the landlord's communication and treatment of residents. While locations may be convenient, the overall experience is marred by neglect and unaddressed complaints, leading many tenants to advise against renting and to withhold approval of the management.

Williamsburgs Unresponsive Slumlord

Pros

Great location. In unit washer and dryer.

Cons

Building is not maintained at all. Had to call the fire department for a gas leak, there was no working CO2 detectors in the building. Basement unit floods every time it rains. Had a roach problem that landlord didn’t address. Front door was broken into and was never fixed.

Advice to the owners

Owner hates his tenants

Pros

Great location in a nice neighborhood. Close to the subway. Quite neighborhood.

Cons

Building is not well kept up with. Landlord is rude to tenants and doesn’t care about their concerns.
