Nice at first, but left before the year was up

Close proximity to the train/bus and restaurants, clean building, separate space for packages, fairly quiet neighborhood despite being on a busier road
Cons
While our landlord was always responsive, we had issues with the landlord addressing issues with heat not working in the bedroom and kitchen. Once the heating was resolved, a leak began in the bedroom that came from the heating unit above us which was never fixed. The solution was to turn the heat off again in the middle of winter to stop the flow of water. The building is a co-op and we had another tenant that consistently banged on the walls and yelled at us to stop making noise when we’d be sitting on the couch talking at a low to average volume. They want the silence of a home but live in a building with numerous other people. The washer machines also did a somewhat poor job of cleaning clothes. I’d have to pre wash items or they’d come fresh out the laundry with dirt still on them. There’s a moving fee that’s non-refundable so the super can add protection blankets to elevator walls, but the blankets were on 80% the time we were living there so we essentially paid a fee for them to do nothing.

Take renters issues the same as you would for owners
