Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Tenant reviews for buildings managed by Eric Nemiroff reveal a mixed management experience. Positive remarks include friendly neighbors, attentive doormen, and well-maintained spacious apartments in good locations. However, concerns persist about inconsistent communication, delayed responsiveness to repair issues, outdated appliances, and general upkeep such as cleanliness in hallways and stairwells. Garbage management and pest control are moderate but not exemplary. Some tenants face noisy conditions and aging infrastructure problems like leaks and poor energy efficiency. Overall, management appears somewhat responsive yet could improve maintenance quality and tenant communication to enhance living conditions and satisfaction.

Rent too high for very mediocre conditions and service. I moved to a smaller un

Pros

Quiet and fairly clean.

Cons

The owners/management have a very poor communication system, completely outdated, don’t respond to problems unless it’s dangerous, ignore multiple issues, hire cheap contractors that do poor jobs, multiple problems are ongoing, the building is not energy officiant, pipes leak between floors, bad conditions of walls, ceilings, paint, walls are not properly waterproofed, inner walls around windows that aren’t well installed are damp. Prices go up but the conditions in the building are not up to the standard of high rent. Because of the conditions I moved to a much smaller unit at $2,715 but the old barely working stove/oven is not replaced - cannot cook normally!!

Advice to the owners

Replace old appliances - the old ones barely work and are dangerous!!! Improve the building in general, higher quality contractors, care about your tenants, update communication and conditions of walls, pipes, energy supply. Fix leaks! Lower rent!

My honest opinion

Pros

Location is wonderful, plenty of public parking and building is maintained somewhat well

Cons

Hallways floors and elevators need to be thoroughly cleaned. Bathrooms and kitchens are out dated.

Advice to the owners

strip the hallways floors, clean the elevators daily and replace outer building doors that are difficult to open
