Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent tenant reviews highlight that buildings owned by Jeffrey Cauchi are well-managed in terms of cleanliness, garbage disposal, and pest control. Tenants appreciate the responsive owner and proximity to amenitieslike subway stations and grocery stores. However, noise levels due to neighbors, occasional maintenance delays, and lack of soundproofing in some apartments are noted concerns. It is suggested to address tenant profiles carefully to maintain a harmonious living environment. Overall, despite minor drawbacks, the buildings are recommended for their location and attentive management, with the standout feature being the exceptional super of the building.

Loved living here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Responsive super, really nice apartment with large living area. Convenient location. Great for hosting!
Cons:
Occasional mice in the trash room and sometimes mail got stolen. It was also quite loud, but you get used to it.

Nice apt
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to subway/whole foods/target, good room sizes, super very responsive. Never had any cockroach issues. Really enjoyed this apartment.
Cons:
This building faces the street and the windows are not sound proof- you can really hear the street noise, but it's doable. We had huge holes in our apartment where mice were sneaking in (2 that I saw). Management took a while to come patch up the holes.
Advice to owner:

A nice place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Right near the 4/5/6 line, close to several grocery stores, several wash and folds in the area
Cons:
No in building laundry, prior super was unreliable, but not an issue once he was replaced
Advice to owner:

Amazing Super/Landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
I’m a born and raised New Yorker and Jeffrey, the super of the building is truly the best super I’ve ever had out of the numerous buildings I have lived in. A genuine kind man if you show him respect and stay on his good side. Spacious apartments. Great location.
Cons:
This building is a combination of residents from families with children (who are lovely people) to frat boy college kids (who are the absolute WORST). Thanks to the frat boys, the hallway smells like a combo of stale beer, weed and BO almost every day and their lack of respect for neighbors is clear by the ragers that go until 4am Thursday-Saturday. After knocking on their doors politely the first few times, eventually when I grew angry I knocked on the door at 3am and I could hear the boys inside say “what are you gonna do I’m not home” and laugh to each other. - Most apartment have a 1-2 rooms with natural light and the others are very dark.
Advice to owner:
If you’re going to rent the apartments to college students, make sure those college students are girls not boys.
