So far so good

Pros

Great location- close to many restaurants and bars on 31st Ave and Broadway, super close to the train, grocery store and laundromats, but on a usually quiet and pretty tree lined street. The super/landlord keep the common areas very clean. My apartment layout is pretty good. Lots of light and plenty of living and closet space for one person.

Cons

Heat was very low for my apartment. It was just off most of the time after February, despite the weather fluctuated a lot these days. I had to buy a heated blanket to be able to sleep. When they did have to turn on the heat because it snowed, it took a very long time for the place to heat up. Not a con for me but would be helpful to other renters: It seems like the landlord gives strong preference to single occupancy. I don’t see any couples or family living here.

Pros

common areas are clean. neighbors are usually quiet. great cozy place.

Cons

The heat is strange. even when i turn it all the way off it still finds a way to be hot. the building runs hot you can feel it when you walk in the front door. Now, some people like this, but in the summer months the a/c is always on. being picky here cuz everything else is pretty great
