I promise you can find better
Former Tenant
Pros:
Newly renovated apartment and was really nice inside of the unit.
Cons:
There were several instances of domestic violence in the building, once there was blood stains up and down the stairs for about a month or two. Homeless men frequently passed out with a needle hanging outside of their arm blocking apartment doors and urinating in the hallway. There was no package/mail room so packages were stolen and there tends to be loud music. A lot of this does come with living in Hell’s Kitchen right next to port authority but management failed to take any steps towards building security and maintenance in the lobby/stairwell. Throughout all of Covid we didn’t hear anything from management on added steps they were taking in the building as for sanitation. Charging as much as they do for rent it’s not worth it.
Advice to owner:
Have a functioning lock on the door.

Time Square’s Best
Former Tenant
Pros:
Landlords are accessible. Exposed brick makes the units feel homey
Cons:
Neighborhood gets sketchy at night and the street isn’t quiet. Front door doesn’t lock all the time and people sleep in the lobby.
Advice to owner:
Step up the security
