The superintendent, Isaiah is great.

Management, roaches, no heat, 350 rent raise, management. The leasing agency and management are co-owners. They make you put down the first month rent and security deposit before giving you a lease. As soon as they have your money they are awful. They wouldn’t let me move into the apartment until the 15th and refuse to acknowledge that the lease is up on the 15th not the 31st. There is no actual recycling. They put it all in black bags. My apartment was freezing and they refused to fix my heat or subsidize the cost of the space heating bill. They are rude and the WORST I have dealt with in my 20 years in NYC

I lived here a few years ago and the apartment across the hall from me got such a massive infestation that the walls were literally crawling. I will say that the landlord was responsive (several of us called) and they took care of it. One thing I learned during that saga: if you're having a real problem, the monthly spraying doesn't do much - it's more for maintenance. Infestations need the gel treatment. The landlord doesn't pay for that by default, but they did when I called and demanded it.
