Small but Well Maintained
Pros
Exposed brick and well maintained building - everything is very nice, very quiet street (they often put barricades up between 7th and 10th on Ave B so cars hardly ever come down this street), proximity to the park
Cons
My apartment was very small, water pressure wasn't great, usually took a couple weeks and a couple emails/texts to get stuff fixed, it's far from subway stations, nice gyms, and restaurants (there are two small grocery stores nearby but I have to go 6-7 blocks away for a full one. There was a drunk living in the building for awhile who was a legacy from a rent stabilized building, but I believe they forced him out. Not sure how I feel about it, but he isn't here anymore.
Advice to the owners
Used to be solid for the price - the advertised rent is now 16% higher than what we got it for a year ago.
Small, mice, but updated
Pros
Updated and clean hallways.
Cons
Small, steep stairs. Mice infested with little to no improvements. Neighbor that consistently stole packages and causes many problems for the building. Centennial properties will do anything in their power to delay giving you your security deposit return.
Advice to the owners
Evict A2.
