Great first solo apt in LES

Pros

Great location, the super and building management were always very responsive, clean, no pests, good management of the waste out front, surprisingly quiet from the inside / neighbor perspective

Cons

The block has a few questionable characters hanging out front often but hey - its NYC! Same with the honking with people trying to get on the Williamsburg bridge. The cost of living in this area though.

Well Maintained Pre War

Pros

The units in this building are well maintained, and some are renovated. In my 1+ years of experience I have seen no pests.

Cons

There are no appliances such as washer/dryer or dishwasher. Some floor plans do not have windows in the living room/kitchen. The super is great but does not speak English.
