Night mare landlord
Pros
The building is nice & well kept. The staff is very nice.
Cons
This is for unit 333 2G specifically - (it’s a condo and units are individually owned). The unit was cockroach infested. The owner dropped off a bottle of insecticide about 2 weeks after complaining of 1-2, sometimes 3 giant cockroaches running around the apartment. Finally the building hired an exterminator but there was always still roaches, just not quite as many. The exterminator that the building hired ended up stealing from my apartment and there was no action taken to insure a different company would service the apartment. Upon giving notice, the landlord threatened multiple times to enter without permission stating “she didn’t need permission to enter”, wanted to start hiring contractors to make updates for new tenant while I was still living there. Also said she was sending a repair man for holes in the wall and would send me the bill (before I moved out) even though a tenant has the right to repair themselves. Overall terrible communication and experience.
Advice to the owners
Make sure to respect tenants rights
Beautiful apartment, proactive maintenance, but AC has been iffy
Pros
Very nice views of the private garden. Huge bedrooms. For example, the 2bd 2ba i’m in, one room is about 15x12. The doormen have been employed for a while, so they get to know everybody and have deep connections to the residents. Service has also been pretty good about getting to issues quickly, or offering suitable replacements.
Cons
My AC unit broke and has been leaking. It’s been broken since around late summer and it hasn’t been fixed yet. Additionally, sometimes the circuit to the AC shortcircuits and we need someone to fix that.
