Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 135 Charles Street in Manhattan praise its prime West Village location, historic charm, and amenities like on-site laundry and elevator access. Tenants find the building generally clean and safe, appreciating responsive management in some cases. However, issues such as inconsistent maintenance responsiveness, occasional noise disturbances from neighbors, problematic heating with lack of temperature control, slow elevator, and package theft concerns have been noted. Pest control and water pressure receive mixed feedback, and some renters desire better upkeep. Despite these drawbacks, many find it a desirable place due to its ambiance, spacious units, and quiet street setting.
