Nice building above a wine bar in a good location. High potential.
Landlord is extremely unresponsive to anything and everything. Difficult to work with on even the basics (rent, security deposit, pest control, cleanliness, work orders).
Neighbors and downstairs wine bar are easy-going, friendly, and the location is almost unbeatable.
Owners are two spoiled kids who won't lift a finger to answer the phone, repairs won't be made in a timely manner unless you threaten to call 311, and blame tenants when the one maintenance guy can't figure out how to do the job right. Heads-up: the owners' broker picks and chooses who he decides to assess a fee. Turn him down - there's far better buildings in the neighborhood.
