Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

325 East 21 Street offers a prime, quiet location with strong water pressure and generally responsive maintenance. Tenants appreciate the safe neighborhood, good natural light, and occasional pest control. However, many reviews mention thin walls and noisy neighbors, with a young tenant demographic leading to disruptive behavior. The building suffers from poor garbage management, occasional rodent sightings outside, and outdated plumbing. Management's responsiveness varies, with some praising upkeep while others report unresponsiveness and package theft issues. The building lacks laundry and amenities, and some apartments have dated appliances. Overall, it suits renters valuing location over modern conveniences or quiet living.

Amazing location, decent apartment!

Pros

Amazing location, feels pretty safe especially being across from a middle school I saw a few bugs in my room but never had any issues with roaches/mice

Cons

Hallways and stairs were not well kept The garbage disposal area is not well kept either, saw a rat once but not sure how well that can be avoided since it’s outside Appliances in our specific apartment were really dated but I don’t think that’s the case for all units
