Great doorman, wonderful location
Cons
Awful super, horrid landlord. Unethical behavior in renegotiating the lease. Elevator doesnt work regularly, water and heat are regularly shut off.
Advice to the owners
Be better landlord - take care of real issues rather than creating superficial changes.
Great building but unprofessional super
Pros
Building doormen are excellent, building is kept clean and always feels safe. The building has high ceilings, thick walls where you can’t hear neighbors, nice floors/appliances/fixtures, good lighting and large windows even in central facing units. Great location and dog friendly
Cons
The building super is extremely unprofessional. He does low quality work, is non responsive, and unreliable. He is also disrespectful/rude to tenants who have requests.
Advice to the owners
Consider more management over super or replacement, he is widely disliked across the building and is unwilling to fix issues in units that improve the quality of the apartment.
