Not worth it

Pros:
If your unit faces the back, it is VERY quiet. No street noise which is a big plus.
Cons:
Super is unresponsive, building manager is worse. Lots of building issues, things are constantly breaking, leaks in ceilings/flooding apartment, no heat for weeks.

Not a bad building

Pros:
The location is amazing, a couple of blocks from Times Square and next to restraint row. Broadway theaters are all a few minutes walk away. It is surprisingly quiet considering where we are.
Cons:
One apartment has a small dog that they allow to bark in the corridors all the time. It’s owner talks loudly in the corridor in her phone too and no respect for anyone else living in the building. The building manager Alex never responds to email and never returns phone calls.
Advice to owner:
Replace Alex with someone that will respond to issues.
