Old but not bad
Pros
The building only has 11 or 12 units so not a lot of people in and out of the building. Most of the tenets are quiet and friendly. One of the apartments on the 5th floor are occasionally loud. The water pressure is great so that's nice.
Cons
The floors are slanted and are in pretty bad shape. Because of that the windows are crooked, so it makes it difficult to put in window a/c units, and the doors are not level with the frames. Some of the doors require pressure to close them and some of them we needed to put magnets on them so the door would stay closed. The most annoying door we had to do that with is the bathroom door. Speaking of the bathroom the toilet is right in front of the door so if you are taller than 5'4" then you need to sit in the toilet sideways. The living room gets no natural light because a brick wall was built in front of the two living room windows so if you open the blinds you have a brick wall about a foot in front of you.
Advice to the owners
Keep an eye on these floors.
Fine for a cheap apartment
Pros
Great neighborhood, very cost effective
Cons
Hated when I got bedbugs, that sucked.
