Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Tenant feedback for 210 West 70 Street emphasizes its excellent Manhattan location, spacious apartments, and friendly neighbors. The building offers appealing amenities like a gym and children's playroom, though some require extra fees. Management and staff are generally described as helpful, with 24/7 doorman service appreciated. However, persistent pest problems, especially rodents and roaches, significantly impact resident satisfaction. Ventilation issues and inconsistent heat worsen comfort, with complaints about poor air quality and overheating. Noise levels vary but tend toward quiet. Some renters express concerns over high rent and occasional slow owner responsiveness. Overall, it's valued for location and community but needs better pest control and maintenance responsiveness.

RIP OFF ARTISTS
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very good location, near 1-2-3 train and Trader Joe’s
Cons:
For the amount of space you get this place is a complete and total RIPOFF - the rent is way over market . For paying that kind of rent you would expect that the building be free of rats and cockroaches but sadly it is not. You have to pay extra to use amenities like the gym, storage room, and the children’s playroom. The air quality in the apartment is very poor and ventilation is nonexistent.
Advice to owner:
Reduce your rent to market rent or improve your living conditions to make it worth it to live here.
