No good management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good neighbors only
Cons:
Lots of issues. Management not responsive. Neighbors had no gas for a very long time. Some have Rodents and heat problems as well.
Advice to owner:
Not applicable as there will not be any improvement

Horrible landlord & no building care for what could be a lovely residence.
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is unbeatable, as are the neighbors.
Cons:
Sadly, the building is horribly maintained: inconsistent water and heat alongside a lack of building and delivered package safety. There are also MAJOR structural issues with the pipes, causing individual apartment and building-wide emergencies. Outside of a garbage basement with many rats, the laundry room is insufficient for the amount of tenants and the machines themselves are filthy. (those machines were also inoperable for almost a year due to the water pipe issues!)
Advice to owner:
The landlord, Robert Gilardian, is dismissive at best. Had the building been properly maintained, it could have been a premier destination. Instead, tenants live from an at least bi-weekly issues and overall impending doom (breaking water pipes, leaks, crumbling walls and ceilings). The scaffolding - which has been up for nearly 15 years - is itself an emblem of the disregard.

Is the location and space worth the hassles?
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location, wonderful neighbors, roomy apartments.
Cons:
Scaffolding (aka shed) has been up for over a decade. Physical plant (facade, heat, elevator, etc.) not well maintained.
Advice to owner:
It could be a true luxury building, which given the location should be worth a great deal, but investment is required.

Nice apartments on not so well managed building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator building, laundry on building
Cons:
Unresponsive management Basement dumpster with pest issues No cooking gas In some apartments since 3 months ago
Advice to owner:
The building is great, if only management company would put more effort and really work on the building, it would be a much better place to live
