Landlord Lives in Building!

Pretty apartment - nice remodel
Cons
Expensive Small bedrooms Loud NO garbage system - had to take garbage out on garbage days only Owner/landlord does not disclose in the application process but she lives in the building. She sends frequent emails and texts sharing all kinds of complaints - for example, a friend bringing their small dog with them when they came in for a quick visit (we also had an approved dog in the unit). There are cameras in the hallway that she frequently watches. She also withheld large sums of money from our deposit for things like “a scratch on the hardwood” and “nail holes from small pieces of wall art”.
