How severe is the mold issue in the bathroom and around the AC units? Has anyone taken any steps to mitigate its spread?

Back in 2021 it was pretty bad at least in the unit that I lived (3E). The bathroom ventilator never worked - nor the one in the kitchen and I remember cockroaches coming out from the ducts (we closed it with paper!). The landlord replaced the AC after my roomie got an air assessment which included the ACs.

Huge rooms with lovely original parquet floors. Decent light. Doorman. Laundry in building. Close to the lovely Sutton Pl Park on E 57th for some respite from Midtown craziness. Very lovely and responsive landlord.
Very small kitchen, and cosy living room. But in exchange you had larger rooms. Rent increased as the weight of Covid lifted. The process of going through a condominium approval is arduous and pricy, but the doormen were very lovely and noise levels were very very low. Price did increase too high for us to stay, but I suppose that's to be expected for this neighborhood.
The doormen have been very helpful; neighbors are very nice and friendly.
