Solid place to live
Pros
Clean building, nice little studio apartment with a dishwasher and elevator. Nice neighbors with a handful of older people who have lived her a long time. Amazing location near Central Park. No pest or bug problems.
Cons
Windows are badly insulated (can hear conversations outside, drafty), old intercom system, apartment is tiny and expensive.

The Super lives on the second floor. He is bi-polar and leaves shoes, toys, bikes, scooters and crap outside his front door in a shared hallway. He’s children slam doors and are exceptionally loud, seemingly on purpose. The super leaves threatening notes to the tenants all over the building regarding trash disposal. The management company does nothing when tenants report him. I moved out because of this abusive super. I have never experienced anything like it in 25 years in NYC.
Advice to the owners
Get a new super!
