ok apartment good neighborhood

Pros

- great neighborhood - nice repair guy - elevator always works - building kept clean - unit stayed pest free

Cons

- not building's fault, but construction on 77th is loud - heat in winter sometimes sucks - sometimes unresponsive management

Nice unit, leaky roof

Pros

Really nice natural light from skylights in kitchen and bathroom, windows on two sides in bedroom, convenient layout

Cons

Surprisingly the skylights did not leak but the roof would freeze and we’d get severe leaks in the corner of the living room each winter. Cold in winter in bedroom. Management company was absolutely horrible to interact with, which was needed when a rent check was mislaid and when a repair was needed.

Advice to the owners

I think you manage too many apartments to just have the one secretary responding to everything
