Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent reviews of 517 East 75 Street in Manhattan indicate mixed sentiments. Some tenants appreciate the convenience and spaciousness of the apartments, with good garbage management and proactive pest control. However, concerns include thin walls leading to noise disturbances, challenging neighbors, and slow responsiveness to issues like noise complaints and pest control. Despite positive aspects like good water pressure and a well-maintained building, the location's noise levels and surrounding activities might deter potential renters. The consensus suggests a need for better addressing noise-related issues and improving the overall living experience.

Former tenant·5 months ago

Thin walls, pest control

Pros

Convenient enough location to east river, cafes

Cons

pest control, loud young neighbors, crazy neighbor blasting death metal and took months to resolve

Former tenant·Over 1 year ago

Apartment nice, location bad

Pros

Apartments are huge which is really the selling point. There’s laundry downstairs also and pest management comes around every 1-2 months

Cons

The location (personal preference) is awful. It’s on a dead end street, but it’s the surprisingly loud for there being nothing around due to con Edison directly across the street and it’s situated between two schools. Sometimes the parents for school drop off will honk and start screaming in the street early in the morning. Con Edison sometimes does construction for days on end.
