Good starter apartment

Pros

Pros of the apartment was the location and the fact it was very quiet! It is mainly a studio building and the space was great as a starter apartment.

Cons

The cons were the garbage being kept in the stairwell which caused it to smell and allowed for bugs. Another huge one was the scaffolding which is not just an eye-sore when you want to enjoy your balcony but it even caught on fire while I lived there and still wasn't taken down despite work never being done.

Great UES building

Pros

The building is very clean and quiet, with little to no noise heard from neighbors or the outside. The super takes great care of the building, there is a small but good laundry room, never had any issues with heat or hot water. Would definitely keep renting here.

Cons

I wish the water pressure was stronger, and over the years I have seen the occasional roach in the basement or my apartment.
