Quiet (Enough) Building

Pros

Nice, classic prewar building on the UES. Neighbors were friendly and the building was fairly quiet (although some people had dogs and that made some noise)

Cons

Heat blasted from October through May and we had to run the AC to offset it.

Pros

Very responsive management, good price, roof access.

Cons

Walls are paper thin. I could literally hear my neighbors conversations. This wasn't the end of the world because I had fairly considerate neighbors, but beware. Floors were so sloped a tennis ball would roll to the other side. Doors were made of plastic, which allows noise to travel. I'd give this apartment a B overall.
