It’s a place to live without roaches and the neighbors aren’t loud. The neighborhood is really lovely and bustling.
Water damage and mold issues combine with a super unresponsive landlord to form a miserable stuffy summer. The apartments are small and there is poor ventilation.
Have an actually responsive landlord or super who actually come and fix problems. Building desperately needs work. Stairs are falling apart for example.
Inexpensive and large 2 bedroom, big kitchen, very nice and helpful super, lenient landlord
Rat/mice Infestation, Two rooms without windows, slant in floor, I had to buy a smoke alarm, one time the floor above us leaked through our bathroom ceiling, my radiator leaked, and I had to make heat complaints at least three times in two years
Stop using the sticky pads for mice. There are more humane options. Make sure there are smoke alarms.
