Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews for 315 East 84 Street in Manhattan reveal a mixed living experience. Positive aspects include a nice neighborhood location, well-maintained units with good heat and water pressure, and generally responsive management appreciated by some tenants. Several tenants highlight decent cleanliness and pest control. However, concerns remain about security issues like package theft due to non-functional cameras, occasional flooding from plumbing failures, noise disturbances from neighbors, and lack of amenities such as laundry and package rooms. Rent increases and limited landlord flexibility also caused dissatisfaction. Tenants advise the management to prioritize resident well-being and improve communication and building infrastructure to enhance living conditions.

I thought I was moving into my forever apartment and I'm super disappointed
Former Tenant
Pros:
it's in a nice area of manhattan
Cons:
ive had numerous calls packages stolen from the hallway and the camera doesn't work. I've had my toilet overflow and flood the apartment below me as well as my heater didn't work so I turned it on and it flooded the apartment below me as well. after the Covid deal, my rent went up $400 and I was told a month before I had to sign my new lease
Advice to owner:
care more about the people that live in ty our building instead of money

Decent place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Decent building. Nothing fancy. Generally responsive.
Cons:
No laundry. Landlord not willing to negotiate on rent. Not responsive to noisy neighbors with dog that wasn't allowed
