Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 1685 1 Avenue commend the building's quiet atmosphere, updated units, in-unit laundry, and strong water pressure. Tenants appreciate the good location and clean communal areas like the stairwell. However, a recurring issue is the persistent presence of rodents and pests around garbage disposal areas, which many feel management and the landlord inadequately address. Responsiveness from the landlord and management varies, with several tenants describing delays and unhelpfulness in resolving complaints. Noise levels and neighbors generally receive positive remarks. While some recommend the building for its amenities and location, others advise caution due to pest control and management responsiveness concerns.

Not a bad place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
I like how quiet it is for the most part compared to other parts of the city and it's a small yet comfortable place to live in
Cons:
I really don't like the landlord Jeff. He's unresponsive and makes you pay for things when you ask for help.
Advice to owner:
We need a new landlord
